BILLBOARD'S 10 HOTTEST SONGS - WEEK OF NOVEMBER 08, 2014

With its eighth week at no.1 spot, Meghan Trainor's "All About That Bass" is now holding the record for the longest-ruling no.1 song ever released on Epic Records. The catchy single has already passed two Michael Jackson hits on the label "Billie Jean" and "Black or White" which led the chart for seven weeks.

Maroon 5' "Animals" is up to fifth spot, breaking the consecutive weeks of the all-female top 5.

Entering our top 10 list is Irish artist Hozier with his song "Take Me To Church," which is featured in a new Beats by Dre commercial which highlights LeBron James' return to the Cleveland Cavaliers.

The song is also written as a stance against gay discrimination in Russia. As a matter of fact, "Take Me To Church" music video follows the relationship between two men in a same-sex relationship. Although Hozier himself does not appear in the video.
