KATY PERRY LAUNCHES HER OWN MUSIC LABEL; SIGNS FERRAS AS ITS FIRST ARTIST

Being an admired, universal pop star and launching her own music label is ultimately a huge walk on air.

On Tuesday, June 17th, Katy Perry launches her own record label called Metamorphosis Music.

Metamorphosis Music is a joint endeavor with Katy Perry's current label, Capitol Records.

As its first artist, Metamorphosis Music has signed Katy Perry's good friend and pop singer Ferras, who also released his own 5-song EP on the very same day as the record label announcement.

The "Roar" singer was the executive producer of Ferra's first EP under Metamorphosis Music. The self-titled EP includes the songs: "Speak in Tongues," "No Good in Goodnight," "Champagne," "King of Sabotage" and "Legends Never Die" which featured Katy Perry.
