He said I've been where you've been beforeDown every hallway's a slamming doorNo way out, no one to come and save meWasting a life that the Good Lord gave youThen somebody said what I'm saying to youOpened my eyes and told me truthHe said: just a little faith and it'll all get betterSo I followed that preacher man down to the river and now I'm changedAnd now I'm strongerThere must've been something in the waterOh there must've been something in the waterWell I heard what he said and I went on my wayDidn't think about it for a couple of daysThen it hit me like lightning late one nightI was all out of hoping, all out of fightCouldn't fight back my tears so I fell on my kneesSaying God if you're there come and rescue meFelt love pouring down from aboveGot washed in the water, washed in the blood and now I'm changedAnd now I'm strongerThere must be something in the waterOh there must be something in the waterAnd now I'm singing along to amazing graceCan't nobody wipe this smile off my faceGot joy in my heart, angels on my sideThinking about it, I saw the lightAnd looked ahead, no turning backLive everyday, give it all that I haveTrusted someone bigger than meEver since the day that I believed I am changedAnd now I'm strongerThere must be be something in the waterOh there must be something in the waterOh there must be something in the waterOh there must be something in the waterOh yeahI am changedStrongerNow I see
