Former member of One Direction Zayn Malik has expressed his thoughts about the band’s new single, "Drag Me Down."

"Proud of my boys the new single is sick," Malik tweeted Saturday afternoon. "Big love. :) x"

One Direction's "Drag Me Down" was released just days after Zayn Malik signed a recording deal with RCA Records --

Watch:

Liam, Harry, Louis and Niall has performed the song live for the first time, in Indianapolis.

One Direction won two awards at BBMAs, Top Duo or Group  and Top Touring Artist. The boys were so grateful. They also thanked the fans but fans were thrilled to hear Liam Payne share the award to one more person -- Zayn Malik.

Grieving fans, don't be shocked! In the first week of March, even before he quit One Direction, it's already been confirmed that Zayn Malik will be featured as a solo artist on his pal Naughty Boy's upcoming album.

Naughty Boy (who also collaborated with Sam Smith on the song "La La La") also revealed that he has made plenty of music together with Zayn over time.

And on Monday, March 30, a demo of Zayn's first song as a solo artist called "I Won't Mind" have surfaced online.

Captioned with "Let the music do the talking guys. thank us later. :) x," Naughty Boy posted on Twitter with the song. He added in the Soundcloud description, "There is nothing but love for what was left behind. thats why we don't mind. ;) #2016 #zaughty #zindabad."

Although "I Won't Mind" was removed from SoundCloud less than 12 hours after it posted, netizens are so smart to rip it and upload on YouTube.

Earlier on Monday, One Direction's Louis Tomlinson couldn't help but took to Twitter and expressed his feeling about the producer bragging online about working with Malik.

Wow @NaughtyBoyMusic you're so inconsiderate pal , seriously how fucking old are you ? Grow up ! #masterofallwisdom

SOLO CAREER. Even Simon Cowell, the mastermind behind One Direction, was very happy with Zayn Malik doing "I Won't Mind" and supports the whole thing -- according to Naughty Boy in a statement released in the first week of March.
Zayn Malik left One Direction to "live a normal life" but it's clear he isn't ready to quit the music limelight. And most likely, Simon Cowell has the rights to Zayn Malik's future solo career.
According to reports, Simon Cowell only allowed Zayn Malik leave One Direction contract with Syco Records only if Syco would be allowed to release his future albums.
Does this mean we can expect a solo album from Zayn Malik real soon?

Zayn Malik, 22, wearing a backwards baseball cap and sporting facial hair was looking slightly pensive later that day as he left his North London home in the back of a chauffeur-driven limousine.

He made the world cry when he announced on Wednesday that he was officially quitting One Direction after five years as 1/5 of the world's biggest boyband.

22-year-old Zayn announced his decision to quit the chart-topping boyband, leaving Niall Horan, Harry Styles, Liam Payne and Louis Tomlinson to continue as a four-piece.

Zayn said in a statement:

"My life with One Direction has been more than I could ever have imagined.

"But, after five years, I feel like it is now the right time for me to leave the band. I'd like to apologise to the fans if I've let anyone down, but I have to do what feels right in my heart."

"I am leaving because I want to be a normal 22 year old who is able to relax and have some private time out of the spotlight."

'I know I have four friends for life in Louis, Liam, Harry and Niall. I know they will continue to be the best band in the world."

One Direction added in a second statement:

"We're really sad to see Zayn go, but we totally respect his decision and send him all our love for the future. The past five years have been beyond amazing, we've gone through so much together, so we will always be friends. The four of us will now continue. We're looking forward to recording the new album and seeing all the fans on the next stage of the world tour."

Liam, Harry, Niall and Louis will record their fifth album minus Zayn Malik and will continue with the remaining dates on the band's forthcoming world tour.

After five incredible years Zayn Malik has decided to leave One Direction. Niall, Harry, Liam and Louis will continue as a four-piece and look forward to the forthcoming concerts of their world tour and recording their fifth album, due to be released later this year.

Zayn says: "My life with One Direction has been more than I could ever have imagined. But, after five years, I feel like it is now the right time for me to leave the band. I'd like to apologise to the fans if I've let anyone down, but I have to do what feels right in my heart. I am leaving because I want to be a normal 22-year-old who is able to relax and have some private time out of the spotlight. I know I have four friends for life in Louis, Liam, Harry and Niall. I know they will continue to be the best band in the world."

One Direction say: "We're really sad to see Zayn go, but we totally respect his decision and send him all our love for the future. The past five years have been beyond amazing, we've gone through so much together, so we will always be friends. The four of us will now continue. We're looking forward to recording the new album and seeing all the fans on the next stage of the world tour."

Simon Cowell says: "I would like to say thank you to Zayn for everything he has done for One Direction. Since I first met Zayn in 2010, I have grown very, very fond - and immensely proud - of him. I have seen him grow in confidence and I am truly sorry to see him leave. As for One Direction, fans can rest assured that Niall, Liam, Harry and Louis are hugely excited about the future of the band."

Directioners (especially in the Philippines and Indonesia) are saddened after the news broke that Zayn Malik's leaving One Direction.

Zayn Malik has flown back to the UK to deal with "stress" and the band will be performing their next few concert dates in Manila and Jakarta minus Zayn.

CHEATING. Zayn has dropped out of the One Direction world tour due to "stress," but this "stress" has to do with his fiancee Perrie Edwards.

Reports say, 21-year old Perrie Edwards was furious after seeing photos of her fiancee Zayn Malik cuddling up to another blonde woman named Lauren (while on tour in Thailand).

Allegedly, Perrie Edwards was telling him to come home, leave the tour and fix their relationship or it's done.

Zayn has apologized via a tweet.

I'm 22 years old... I love a girl named Perrie Edwards. And there's a lot of jealous fucks in this world I'm sorry for what it looks like x

DRUG PROBLEMS.  Zayn has quit One Direction world tour due to "stress," and this stress is related to drugs.

One Direction performs on March 21 and 22 at the seaside Mall of Asia Concert Grounds in Manila.

The Philippines' Bureau of Immigration has asked Zayn Malik and Louis Tomlinson to post bonds worth nearly $5,000 each, which will be forfeited if they are caught using or impliedly promoting illegal drugs while in Manila for their concert.

Zayn Malik and Louis Tomlinson are required to post 200,000 pesos ($4,470) bond and 20,000 pesos ($447) processing fee each through their concert producer for their special work permits

The anti-drugs advocate group in the country has called on the government to strictly scrutinize the band members' permits after a video that circulated on the internet of Zayn and Louis purportedly smoking marijuana.

Reports say that Zayn hopes to return for the concert in South Africa starting on March 28.

THE COVER-UP. Zayn Malik leaving One Direction seems to be just a cover up for his drugs problems.

In November 2014, he wasn't there on Today show. In February 2015, Zayn Malik just walked off stage halfway through One Direction's Perth show.

Zayn Malik was seen with a blond girl in public and now "stressed" and left the band in the middle of their Asian tour just when he has to go to the Philippines, a country that he has to do a drug test for.

Logically, if he flies back to the UK before the band performs in Manila, Zayn Malik avoids to forfeit the penalty for said weed bond.

Zayn Malik and the other boys of One Direction have many fans, mostly in their teens. Zayn Malik could have proven himself clean, doing the drug test within those two shows in Manila but he left. ='(

Whatever may be the real reason, we wish that everything goes better for Zayn and the rest of the boys. Directioners will always love and support Liam, Harry, Niall, Louis and Zayn.♥♥♥
